Bookish Happenings: A Reader’s Voice

me-iiIt’s that time again for bookish happenings! Today I am doing a little something different. My aim today is to give tribute to indieBRAG readers. The organization has brought together a global group of readers who are passionate about reading, and who love to help us discover talented self-published authors. There are so many wonderful things about indieBRAG. We not only help indie receive the recognition they deserve; we give readers a voice as well.

All ebooks brought to the attention of indieBRAG, LLC are subjected to a rigorous selection process. This entails an initial screening to ensure that the author’s work meets certain minimum standards of quality and content.  This is where the readers voice plays a big role in selecting books that meet the standards…

Without readers, there wouldn’t be anyone to read these stories or give a chance of encouragement for a writer to keep growing in their craft of storytelling. Kudos for these devoted readers and their expressed opinions of what they value in good story-telling. We thank you and appreciate your role in this industry.

Thank you for visiting Layered Pages today and enjoy your weekend! Make sure you visit indieBRAG and see all the wonderful books that have been selected by our readers. There is a book for everyone. Happy reading!

**Over at my BlogSpot I will be expanding about a reader’s voice. Be sure to look out for it!
